Psalm 121

from Home by Peter Foley

/

about

My favorite Psalm, and my favorite version of it. If anyone knows where this version comes from, please let me know.

lyrics

Psalm 121

I to the mountains lift my eyes
Where can I find such strength and aid
My strength alone comes from the Lord
Who heaven and earth has made

The Lord He watches over You
He does not slumber, does not sleep
He guards your way, you shall not fall
My God, His promises keep

So come and find your rest in Him
He is faithful, believe in Him
Come and find your rest in Him

The Lord's the shade at your right hand
He'll be beside you all the way
You need not fear the moon by night
Or the sun by day

The Lord will keep you from all harm
For He is watching over you
In all your life and at its end
His strength will see you through
